Apologies if this information already resides somewhere already, but my search came up empty.
Someone pointed out that my 1947 7AC Champ's aileron gap seals (really just tape..) was looking a bit tired and should be replaced. The aircraft is registered as non-type/experimental. It then struck me that I'm not entirely convinced it should even have gap seals. Anyone with knowledge on aileron gap seals on a vintage Champ? Should or shouldn't it be fitted? Pros vs Cons?
