I just purchased a 2026 Super Decathlon which is an incredible airplane. I have one question though. I am getting a whistling air noise above speed 115 mph. No obvious air gaps around window or doors, or cowling. As speed increases, the sound gets louder, sometimes to a resonant level which is very noticeable.

Anyone have a similar experience or suggestion? Thanks

It doesn't change when opening/closing the vents -- I tried that! The only time it goes away is when I fly uncoordinated - if I push right rudder and left aileron, it goes away, and similarly left rudder/right aileron. Crazy. I am wondering if it is just normal, or perhaps the new style ailerons have airflow over them that naturally cause the whistling sound. There are no gaps in the cowling, and the baffling all looks great and in the correct position. Nothing else I know of to check.

just like my car turn the radio louder and keep flying
my 77 Decathlon at 120 mph did that until I put gap seal (tape) on all the controls and the fairing around the windshield
I used my headset to listen to my favorite rock music like Steppenwolf Magic Carpet Ride
