8KCAB Airworthiness Directives and Airworthiness Limitations

I may have answered my own question, found the DRS site and used 7GCBC as the search term. Just have to sort through the results I guess. The plane has been kept in annual but I suspect the AD compliance wasn't exhaustive. Will have to see what I'm dealing with when I get there.

Really? It is that easy? I will definitely try!

Edit: It appears to work. But you will have to do a separate search for engine, accessories, etc.
It gave me a list of ten for the Piper J3. I think there are more than that, but a lot have been superseded.

Not sure what the trick is, entered Bellanca and 7GCBC but only got two results, one wasn't relevant. :(

Entering 7GCBC as a keyword search got a much longer list of results to sift through.

So unless the feds subscribe to T-Data or something, they won't have a clue if they start studying your paperwork?
We recently did the 7ECA, and got four single-spaced pages of ADs, not including that AD-like mandatory strut attach inspection.
I will count them in a minute.

This is why most IA's use a service of some type.
But even those miss some.
Most cumbersome is sorting "Appliances".

There is an AD against a Mag Switch which requires an operational check to assure that it will ground out both mags.
I've seen many times this has been accomplished and annotated in the logbook when that switch is not installed on the aircraft.
Easier to ops check than to identify the switch.

Bump. Just tried the DRS for the Decathlon. No dice. Anything serious out there since the metal spar ADs?
I can get a printout from the shop, but want to keep my lists above fairly current with your help.
