Any Shops in Western US that do fabric work and possible Milman spar install?

I'm in Colorado (KEIK) and looking to at least get a bunch of inspection rings installed. I need to replace some nails on a 7KCAB. Also considering just having the wings rebuilt with Milman Spars and being done with the AD. I wanted to get some idea of what it would cost to have someone do it.

Sort of agree. This kind of activity is labor-intensive - one of my buddies just asked if I could do a set of C-120 wings. I said "don't hold me to it, but I am guessing six grand per wing through white Poly Tone.
ACA wings are around twenty grand each, with ACA metal spars, covered. If you do it yourself, you can compute the cost of Milman and covering materials - if somebody else does it, maybe ten grand labor per wing?
And the ACA wing enables you to go 160 HP, which is an incredibly good thing.

Probably just stick with the current wood spars and get the inspection rings installed or have the wing recovered if I can find someone that can do it.

Tough to make the math work with $55k wing on a $70k airplane at this point.

A guy I knew who covered +/- 70 airplanes in his career told me that he estimated 200-300 hours to cover and paint a Cub or a Champ. Repairs were additional.

As a first-time amateur, it took me twice that long but turned out surprisingly well. (Stitts Process, Polytone)

I would recommend you start here before soliciting too hard for metal spar wings.
are you receiving the emails from the site? I'm seeing them bounce, maybe you entered your email incorrectly?

I tried to take a look. Last time I checked it was $42,000 or so if you picked them up. Now you have to request a price. Since I am happy with my wings, I won't bother them, but if some forumite does, please let us know?

On the "shop" doing these things, 300 hours at $100/hr is only $30 grand. You would be lucky to find someone to bring a Cub or Champ up to snuff with new cover for that. We are hobbyists. The rational choice - buy already restored, or do it yourself.

There is a third option - be incredibly wealthy and hire a buyer.

Also -Legend Cub in Texas does really good restorations on Cubs, and Steve Pierce in Graham Tx has a fabric department. Steve is a good guy, and may be able to advise you. He too does mostly Cubs, but there are more similarities than differences.
