OK, here is one I hope someone can shed some light on. I have a Sigtronics intercom. If I am flying alone with a ANR headset no problems. If I have a passenger and they plug in either a ANR or passive while I have a ANR on, volume is so low on both you can't hear. Doesn't matter which intercom they plug into or brand of headset. Have tried both Bose and Lightspeed. Now, if we plug in two passive headsets all good. So, in summary, one ANR fine, one or two passives, fine, any combination of ANR with any other headset not fine. Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I have had bad luck with ANR and semi-open cockpits. Best headset so far is the stock David Clark H10-13.4.

Had a buddy ready to sell his Waco because he couldn't hear the tower on his $1000 Bose. Got the DC; kept the aircraft.
