LED Strobe/Nav Lights?

Hey Bart, if you still want a tail strobe, take a look at the Orion 550. Looks much smaller than the 500. Install guide says it has a sync input.

not sure how I missed that, thanks Ed, the desire to be well lit has more to do with where I fly. always better to be safe especially when the weight penalty is negligible!

It's a new product, just came out last summer, so probably not well known yet. Looks specifically designed to address the size issues with the 500. I'm probably going to SnF again tomorrow, so I'll stop by the WAT booth and chat then up.

I don't think new ones are available, maybe check aircraftspruce.com. ebay has a bunch but there are a couple of different sizes

Preferred Airparts has them on ebay, maybe give them a call and ask about new ones?

it would be helpful if you cost post a pic of the fixture you have and the diameter of the lens just to be sure. you can buy a used replacement on ebay but they are $30 and up.
