Need your opinion on something

Let's say we could add another group to our community here and they are us by DNA but maybe not by overt apperances, there might even be nosewheels involved, would we be ok with that?

Supercub has a lot of C-180 discussion - it adds, rather than detracts.

Probably not a great idea if it would be Cherokees.

I just got a note from the Bellanca- Champion folks. I was a member a couple decades ago, but dropped out when I found my dues were used to pay for travel expenses for the founder. Nothing wrong with that; I suppose it is a perk for doing the organizing work - but not exactly what I wanted.

So I dropped out. They of course locked me out of the forum.

Fora are neat things - there is so much communal information now available, and it makes ownership safer and easier.

So, my thanks to Bart for hosting this forum, which, I think, is far better than the restricted B-C forum.

If it’s Bellanca, I say go for it!

The Bellanca group is worth including. Some of those air frames were a marvel for their age. Hand crank retractable landing gear and triple vertical sabs. Real piece of aircraft history that should not be excluded. The 14-13 airframe's were amazing for their speed but off hand you would not guess that by looking at them. I vote yes!

Sure, increasing the knowledge base is a good thing. Plus there are plenty of days where I wish my plane had a nose wheel...
