My buddy purchased this aircraft last year. I flew it home for him (50 miles). engine sat for 10 yrs.....22 hrs. smoh. i pulled a cylinder to take a look inside and decided to split the case.....fretting. Cylinders rusty. Cracked case. So now decision time for him. Does he sell the airframe (22 hrs. since recover and interior, hangar kept and looks really nice ) to someone looking to install an O-320? Or spend a boatload of money on the engine......surprised me what those parts cost.
