Starting to fly aerobatics in my 1999 7GCAA and am trying to align on the best seat pan / back solutions for parachute use.
Specifically using a Softie 240 Citabria seat pack up front (with seat cushion removed) and Softie 180 Micro back pack in the back with the back cushion removed. I’d like a clean, rigid, snag free surface for each but the frame is a mess of tubes and straps (snag hazards).
ACA recommends welding a pan like the attached photo. Does anyone else have a better solution?
