I recently sent my plugs into a place in Texas for cleaning and testing as I wait for parts to come back from the paint shop to continue reassembly on my resto. They had a lot of surface rust from hanging out in my garage and on the plane. Wish I had before pictures. But trust me, they looked rough.

I gotta say, they look AMAZING. Like brand new. No rust, fresh silver paint, tested, packed in a heat sealed pouch with a dessicant bag and a new washer.

For 9.99 a plug, you can absolutely bet I’ll be using this guy again. I have the cleaner, I have the gap tools, etc. - but for the price, I can focus my efforts elsewhere and have some real pretty plugs.

aerosparkplugservice, gmail.com. I saw him on csobeech.com. His website doesn’t work but he still cleans plugs.

I didn’t get remuneration for this nor did he ask me to post any plug or review - I’m just really jazzed at how these plugs look for under $10 a piece and wanted to let others know what this guy does since some of you may be interested in his services!

If they are Champion spark plugs, it's a good idea to measure their resistance before you have them cleaned.
You can do that with a multtimeter, between the top contact patch and the central electrode. New they should be around 1500 Ohm,
if >5 K get rid of them . Don't know if your cleaning company does this.

^ yup, I’ve always checked and blasted them myself

Yeah they test em with a multimeter and the fancy ATS spark checker. If rejected, no charge.

Certainly something you can do yourself. But for the price, clean, test, paint, I found it to be worth it for me rather than spending an hour or two blasting, picking lead balls out, masking, painting, hitting it with the multimeter…
