Thoughts? We had some thermals but throttle position doesn’t seem to jive

Now on the ground for for runup and idle check it seems to logic

On takeoff we get TCDS static power and feels about right

Thanks!

Dunno. It would be about right in a Cub - I guess I never looked in the few cross countries I have done in a Champ.

Readjust?
Did you move the cable at the carb to a different hole thus shortening the throw.
Have to check with mx, would that change the indicated tach RPM?

Off the diagrams I’m not seeing how any carb would change the indicated RPM indications

If you are saying you think the "indicated" is not accurate, welcome to the club. I think now you can get a tach app for your phone, but if not, borrow a strobo-tach.

Those AC tachs are not perfect - just adequate when properly adjusted (auto speedometer shop).

I flew RCs for a while, was going to get a sensor and see where I really am.

So these tachs can be (theoretically) adjusted?

Tachs are not field adjustable to my knowledge.
I thought you were referring to throttle knob position.
I am sure when the adjusted the throttle that movement from stop to stop on the carb was rechecked.

Mine was off by 100. The tach shop fixed it.
They also can reset the odometer to actual airframe time, making logbook entries much, much easier.
