Using stainless or Zinc PK screws under fabric

Is there a strong desire one way or another? On the leading and trailing edges/bays in a wing?
How about screwing into a Millman spar? Would stainless strip or gall too easily?

I was put off by the struggle of removing the corroded zinc screws.
