They don't like to do field approvals at all, but they must accept your request, and they must give you a reason for rejecting. I think the time frame is 30 days, and if you ask it must be in writing.

They don't like that either, which is probably why I get sll my requests approved. Less hassle. Takes me an average of eight months.

Average. Sometimes it takes over a year. But with polite persistence I get their attention at the six month point. I try to politely contact them once a month. They hold all the cards.
