Recently I've noticed my right tank burns more than left tank. Had this problem before and new caps fixed it. This time I tried to rule out fuel caps while on the ground. I put plane in flight attitude and drained ten gallons from fire wall sump and found right tank drained 2 gallons more than left. I then repeated test with both gas caps off and got same results..I then decided to drain all fuel to see if one tank would run out a few gallons before the other. I wasn't able to to tell if one ran out before the other. However when refilling the left tank I put 6 gallons in and could not get any fuel out the engine sump until I put about the same in the left tank. My question is, is this normal or could there have been some sort of air lock?
