Did you check your elevator range of motion yet?
Yes, I have proper ROM with elevator.

And are you getting that full ROM in flight? I found that was my issue. While my elevator would deflect fully on the ground, it would not go to the stop when rearward stick movement was obstructed by a combination of seat position, cushion/chute thickness, my stomach, the seat belt buckle, and my hand.Yes, I have proper ROM with elevator.

I've not done it in mine, but I too struggle sometimes with getting my 7ECA into a spin, and given how easily it comes out of one, it should be the same inverted. Actually, just centering stick and rudder, no matter if upright or inverted, will quickly get you out of a spin. Also good to train to visually observe which direction the nose is traversing across the ground, prior to applying opposite rudder, instead of simply applying opposite rudder knowing that you're spinning right or left.
Are your spins improving? Puzzled how yours would do 1 proper spin than convert into a mushy spiral. For me I either manage to snap it into a proper spin, or not. I.E. either it's in a spin, and stays (accelerates spinning) in one, or it's in a mushy spiral to begin with.
