Instrument Panels, Posts w/ Pics

N26BY at the fabric shop getting a patch to waterproof and reinforce the wing fabric through which the heated pitot tube mounting bracket penetrates. Back on Monday with a little luck (speed of light almost in a vacuum: dropped the airplane on Wednesday, pick up on Monday).

Primer today, paint tomorrow, pick up on Monday if curer and the weather is dry.

Another request:

I'm trying to draft a ground and flight test plan that will minimize the fee that a Flight Test Pilot DER will charge for my "One-Only" STC application. Does anyone have an STC flight test plan that I can see, not to copy, but to get an idea of the detail that will be required? My strategery is to draft the plan, have a guy who's trying to help me look at it, then pay the DER to bless it ($250/hr) before I submit it to the West Certification Branch. I went to the dark side and asked Chat GTP for help, but the plan it (I almost typed "they") returned seems pretty high-level (no pun intended).

Got some pics of our installation for you. One for the G-5 and the other for the GI-275 EIS. (Garmin doesn't allow piggybacking of the temp probe for some reason...)

1977 7ECA, nice and simple, all within easy reach. Traffic display via battery-powered Stratus 3 and iPhone with Foreflight. I may spring for a panel-mount USB port to keep things charged, so I won't have to carry power banks for longer trips. The AA batteries on the panel shelf are spares for the headset. I like the low-profile panel. It feels like sitting at a low desk on a mountaintop. :)

Was wondering what radios are in your stack. I am wanting to do the same thing.
