Instrument Panels, Posts w/ Pics

Thanks, that helps. I ordered the factory kit, which has a weld-on tab. Welding that on with about 10 other mods next week.

Your plane looks a lot like mine. Got an exterior shot?

2006 Scout. Here is my panel. I want to add an engine analyzer and dual GI275. I just swap the 530 for a 530W.

Do you or anyone else here know a source for the panel N number placard/decals? I like yours, appears to be what the factory is currently using.

Check with your local trophy shop or sign printing shop. They usually have various materials for custom nameplates and such.

Minimum size vinyl letters they do are 1"... The RV guys and others likely have a source or two. I may just reach out to the ACA factory folks.

Gaah, hurricane might have ruined my electronic AHI. I have an RC Allen 2600. Gonna put it in rice. Bought it second hand so not a huge loss.

If dead, I am looking at the RC Allen Mini 6 to replace. I particularly like the consolidation of all 6 flight instruments onto one device for night flight. Combine with an engine monitor and an iPad for navigation, and I could eliminate separate cockpit lighting.

G760 aera, air gizmo panel dock, Bluetooth to GTX 345 for weather and traffic, electric AH.

Do you use your EI-5 for fuel pressure? How do you like it? I am looking to replace my old Stewart Warner mechanical FP gauge, and the EI is over of the few options short of a full up EMS.

I do not use it for FP, mostly just fuel remaining, incredibly accurate, and less often fuel flow. I have a display elsewhere on the panel that shows MP and FP

1977 7ECA, nice and simple, all within easy reach. Traffic display via battery-powered Stratus 3 and iPhone with Foreflight. I may spring for a panel-mount USB port to keep things charged, so I won't have to carry power banks for longer trips. The AA batteries on the panel shelf are spares for the headset. I like the low-profile panel. It feels like sitting at a low desk on a mountaintop. :)

Was going through here looking for ideas on my panel rebuild. Going in a 7ec experimental. My old panel is actually in here from one of the barnstormers panel idea posts.

This is what I've come up with so far. 29" wide 8.5" tall plus 1.5 for where the mixture and stuff is.

Any suggestions welcome, pretty well dead set on the JPI 830 and the Garmin 430 though.
