Instrument Panels, Posts w/ Pics

Panel mount USB is really handy if you have
Was going through here looking for ideas on my panel rebuild. Going in a 7ec experimental. My old panel is actually in here from one of the barnstormers panel idea posts.

This is what I've come up with so far. 29" wide 8.5" tall plus 1.5 for where the mixture and stuff is.

Any suggestions welcome, pretty well dead set on the JPI 830 and the Garmin 430 though.
I'm going with a JPI 830 also. Was going to point out that the 830 can't replace primary gauges, then I realized your aircraft is experimental and you can do what you want.

Have you looked at the JPI 350? Half the cost of the 830 because it is experimental.

No I didn't know about the JPI 350 but on their website it costs about the same when you put everything the 830 comes with on the 350.

I count 53 buttons, and no nav indicator. I think I would be lost in there.
At least there are a couple knobs, which I assume can be used to set volume and frequency.

And - yay! No touch screens.

Looking for some panel design input. Here are pictures of my current panel and a panel idea I have for upgrading to a GI-275 Engine Monitor. (In the new panel ideas picture, I just have generic instruments, etc. for placeholders)

Already installed:
- Garmin G5
- Garmin Aera 660 in dock
- Garmin GTX-327 Transponder
- Pilot's air vent
- Round dial A/S, ALT, T/C & V/S (for some reason, I think I want to keep all of these. When I'm teaching, I tend to put a Post-It over the G-5)
- Remote - GDL-50R for ADSB-In
- uAvionix skyBeacon for ADSB-Out
- Garmin GMU-11 Magnatometer
- Garmin GTP-39 Temp probe

Changes include:
- Adding GI-275
- Adding 406 Mhz ELT
- Adding GSB-15 USB charger (also allows downloading engine data from GI-275)
- Adding Trig TY-91 VHF Radio
- Adding ACA storage cubby for charts/phone/etc
- Keeping G Meter

Removing:
- Flightcomm Intercom
- Becker VHF Radio
- 121.5 ELT

Planning on removing:
- RPM
- Oil Temp
- Oil Press
- Hobbs Meter
- Ammeter

Let me know what you think about layout and anything you can think of that I might be missing or overlooking from an operations perspective. Should I keep anything? Should I add something else?

Thanks!
