You've gotten field approvals to install toe brakes from Citabra/Decathlon aircraft into older airframes?
I don't suppose you have a copy of your 337's you could share?

I won't be around long enough to get an STC but I'll send copies to Grove to put with their other 337's so the next guy (or gal) can "push off" mine for a head start on the paperwork...

No, but I hold field approvals for changing from cable to hydraulic, hydraulic to better hydraulic, really grabby auto-type brakes to Cessna 310 wheels and brakes, and three master cylinder swaps. All done locally. I kinda prefer heel brakes, so would never even think of converting to toe brakes. My Decathlon is toe brake, and I occasionally think of converting it back. I have an awful time with the toe brakes in the "Tango" Cubs.

All the paperwork is complete, gas in the tank (I think...) and the test pilot and new owner should be at DTN tomorrow AM.

Well she's flown!
Unfortunately the wind favored our cross runway 23 instead of 14 so no way to get close for good pics...
Anyway; everything went great, ball centered, roll trim perfect and elevator trim in streamline position with a 200 lb. pilot and 13 gal. (full) fuel.
The new owner needs a thinner seat back cushion to be comfortable due to the cushions now in the plane being 6" of memory foam...
Other than putting on a better comm antenna I don't have to do any tweeks or adjustments so I'm happy with the outcome.
I just noticed I started this thread almost exactly 2 years ago...it's been fun.

Two years what was the hurry, I’m on year 3 and might be done by Christmas if I’m lucky. Life keeps getting in my way of flying.
