Finished my Emergency Maneuver Training at CP Aviation in Santa Paula flying a basic aerobatic sequence that I'd designed myself. Flying the school's 7KCAB with 150HP fixed pitch... gotta watch those RPMs.

Got through the whole thing twice, staying above my minimum altitude. It sure wasn't perfect, but it was a heck of a lot of fun!

That's a cool sequence! I'd vote for you to assemble the 2023 sportsman - instead whoever assembled it this year!

I shall take my big wood clamp home for the summer. I take it you do not need display credit tomorrow? Beautiful photography.

Ended up being 12.5 hours of flying. 3 quick turn fuel stops. Brought 2 PB&J sandwiches, water and a quart of coffee. Left the hangar at 6:10 am and got to the Priest River hangar at 7:50 pm

Thank you for setting a good example for the rest of us! 👍

Gary did that in a float Cub - to Sand Point. Then we had some of the best Salmon I have ever had at Chris' place. I had landed a few hours earlier with Kim's new amphib. What fun!

The fish guy is still in town. Wednesdays and Fridays they bring it in from Seattle. Beats flying over the Cascades to get it.

Today’s adventure up to Priest Lake and Cavanaugh Bay
