2026 WENT FLYING TODAY! ***PICTURES/VIDEO THREAD***

That's great! I appreciate seeing that in video form, and also seeing how useful AcroWrx data is. I have been thinking about trying it to give me more information about my primary sequence practices.
Also, it's weird to see the camera stay horizon stabilized. It a cool vantage point, but i think that the point of view not going upside down with the plane takes a little of the magic away . I imagine you are using one of those new 360 degree cameras?

I used to use GoPro cameras to help evaluate my flying. With the OnFlight Hub and Acrowrx, I no longer use my cameras as the primary tool for seeing what I need to work on. I would say it has helped the most by showing where I am in the box and areas I had no idea I needed to work on. It allows me to "coach" myself further.
Yes, it is an Insta 360 camera. It allows me perspectives that used to take multiple cameras or creative editing. I have thought a lot about the horizon being level in the shot or having the in-cockpit view locked. Both have challenges, but the former helps non-pilots see the motion. The latter helps pilots see what they would see. My goal is to find a way to help non-pilots or non-aerobatic pilots experience the flight as much as possible. I never feel satisfied with what I come up with. There is a guy on YouTube called Alexander Coates. He really puts videos together that capture aerobatics so well.

Been pretty rugged weather here, but did manage to get out with the Mrs for a nice evening flight lately. A couple of photos from our area. Still sorting out the Citabria vs the Champ. Getting there. IMG_4910.webpIMG_4868.webpGood news is Mrs Burns likes the new plane.
