Headliner is starting tomorrow. Finally have all the wiring, antennas and avionics in. Gear leg bolt and motor mounts, new brake rotor, some paint still left, hopefully we will be flying by the time they let us out.

Progress.

Looking good please post lots of pictures on the headliner install mine should be hear next week and I can use the help since it’s been out for 3 months waiting for the new one to be made.

Still waiting on the headliner material from aircraft spruce. Ordered 7 weeks ago. Something about a pandemic.

May I suggest a new thread with your headliner project photos so it won't stay buried here in your introduction thread?

Looks like your doing headliner without recovering the aircraft, I have been told that is much harder way to go. But if fabric is good why rip it off and add all that work. Also your making your own headliner is a brave move I still haven’t heard back from Spruce on my status after sending it back.a few more days and I’ll follow up.

Yes, without recovering. Headliner was destroyed by previous use. Zippers all torn out. Yes we are making a pattern from another Citabria, fitting it into the Scout and installing it with stiching through the existing fabric to backing strips and then tape over and repaint.

Progress

Almost done with the headliner. Some tweaks and then the side panels go in.
