Picked up N16TP in Auburn, California and flew it back to the panhandle of Florida. 19.13 on the tach. Weather dictated KAUN south to KPTV. Then south and east to cross south of Edwards AFB. The fuel stop after KPTV was KTNP and then KFFZ for the night in Mesa, AZ. Saturday had me in and out of Demming, NM, Gaines Co. TX AND KXBP before putting her away in 58T for the night. Monday, I was able to get away from the Dallas Metroplex and get home to Florida- but not before numerous weather deviations that made for fuel stops in Minden, LA and Monroeville, AL.
Now the adventure begins at we’ll put her to work as we teach spin training, Tailwheel endorsements and upset training.

This is when El Vira went over the border to Canada. International Peace Garden, Rolette County, ND (S28). You can land and park in the US or Canada. Note flags in background off the nose, that indicates the border.

Can I play? That is 450 horses up front. As instructor, I am learning more than my student is.

Just put a GTR-200 in, in place of an Icom. We went from practically no com at all to a voice activated intercom and a very happy tower!

A friend had another friend's 90hp L4 Cub in my hangar for a few weeks but it needed to be flown home so I was happy to provide the service!

Looks perfect from here. Be aware how effective that OD paint is at camouflage. We cannot see aircraft like that when they are below the horizon.
